Disconnected harness cable
Remedy: Connect harness plug-in
Corroded contacts at harness plug-in
Remedy: Clean & apply dielectric grease
Corroded eyelets at the pump
Remedy: Clean & apply dielectric grease
Corroded eyelets at the battery
Remedy: Clean & apply dielectric grease
If breaker fuse has been installed, possible blown breaker
Remedy: Check for bare or exposed wire & repair, replace fuse
Corroded contacts at harness plug-in
Remedy: Take apart, clean & apply dielectric grease
Corroded eyelets at the pump
Remedy: Take apart, clean & apply dielectric grease
Corroded eyelets at the battery
Remedy: Take apart, clean & apply dielectric grease
Incorrect flow control settings
Remedy: Loosen the flow control set screw, adjust the flow until plow operates properly then reset the set screw
Oil weight is too light
Remedy: Replace with Low Viscosity Hy-Gard Oil
Air in system
Remedy: Remove air by raising the plow to its maximum height, then lower the plow until the cylinder arm is fully retracted; repeat until all air is removed
Possible internal bypassing in cylinder
Remedy: Replace cylinder
Incorrect flow control
Remedy: Loosen the flow control set screw, adjust the flow until plow operates properly then reset the set screw
Oil weight is too light
Remedy: Replace with Low Viscosity Hy-Gard
Air in system
Remedy: Remove air by raising the plow to its maximum height, then lower the plow until the cylinder arm is fully retracted; repeat until all air is removed

Flush and replace with Low Viscosity Hy-Gard
Fitting is restricted
Remove fitting, clean, replace & test; if necessary, repeat until system, is flushed clean
Incorrect flow of pressure
Remove the nut cap with a 1-1/16” end wrench. Using a straight screwdriver, turn clockwise for more pressure, counterclockwise for less pressure
